TL;DR
Sales Compensation Manager (SaaS): Designing and administering incentive plans across the GTM organization with an accent on accuracy, competitiveness, and strategic alignment. Focus on annual plan design, SPIFF programs, and financial modeling to drive sales performance.
Location: Remote (United States)
Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 + bonus

What you will do
- Lead the annual sales compensation design process across all commission-bearing roles (AEs, AMs, BDRs, SEs, Marketing, Channel).
- Administer monthly and quarterly compensation plans and payouts with high accuracy.
- Design and roll out SPIFFs and short-term incentive programs.
- Collaborate with Finance, People, and GTM leadership on planning cycles, quota setting, and modeling.
- Provide reporting and analytics on attainment, plan effectiveness, and ROI.
- Maintain compensation policies and optimize sales compensation tools and processes to support scale.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in global sales compensation operations, preferably in high-growth or enterprise SaaS.
- Proven track record of designing and administering incentive plans across multiple GTM functions.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data.
- Hands-on experience with sales compensation platforms (e.g., CaptivateIQ) and Salesforce.
- Must be based in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience designing comp plans for new GTM motions (channel, usage-based, or international expansion).
- End-to-end implementation or migration of a compensation platform.
- Advanced Salesforce skills, including building reports, flows, and validation rules.
- Experience with FP&A quota capacity modeling and deal desk ownership.
