Location: Must be based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. This is an onsite role (4 days a week) at the Rice Creek East facility.

Salary: $132,000 – $198,000 USD

What you will do

• Embed security requirements into the medical device development lifecycle from architecture through release.
• Perform system-level threat modeling, attack surface analysis, and vulnerability assessments.
• Review and support implementation of device security capabilities like secure boot, identity, and authentication.
• Apply modern cryptographic principles and support quantum-resistant strategies.
• Partner with agile teams to integrate security into design reviews, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and support security verification and validation activities including penetration and fuzz testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience (or 2+ years with an advanced degree).
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
• Hands-on experience securing embedded or IoT products in regulated environments.
• Strong depth in threat modeling, secure architecture, and device-level risk management.
• Familiarity with medical device cybersecurity standards such as FDA guidance, IEC 81001-5-1, and ISO 14971.
