What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire control, and building management systems.
• Conduct regular site inspections of roofs, mechanical rooms, and electrical rooms.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility systems, including carpentry and minor electrical work.
• Coordinate with facility managers, tenants, and vendors to ensure operational efficiency.
• Provide professional recommendations for equipment upgrades and facility improvements.
• Assist in coordinating construction projects and natural disaster recovery efforts.

Requirements

• Must be based in Charlotte, NC; this is not a remote or hybrid role.
• Training and certification in HVAC or Operating Engineer technologies.
• Minimum 2 years of field experience or equivalent technical training.
• Ability to read and write English to understand manuals and procedures.
• Physical capacity to lift at least 50 lbs and climb 28 ft ladders routinely.
• Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• CFC training and certification.
