Location: Onsite in Oswestry, UK; no remote working available

What you will do

• Proactively monitor network devices and traffic patterns using Nokia WS-NOC and Entuity
• Diagnose and resolve network incidents, leading root cause analysis for hardware and optical fiber failures
• Perform installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of new hardware and service solutions
• Manage software and firmware upgrades for network elements and nodes
• Handle circuit provision, modification, and removal via OMS and Micro-OTN systems
• Coordinate with field engineers and external suppliers to minimize service disruption

Requirements

• Mandatory ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC)
• Must be able to work full-time onsite in Oswestry (Shropshire)
• Proven experience in fault-finding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for dealing with stakeholders and customers

Nice to have

• Experience with Transmission Networks Operations (SDH/DWDM)
• Knowledge of Nokia 1830 and 1850 technology families
• Experience with Cisco or Juniper networking
• ITIL principles and change management experience
• Full UK driving licence
