What you will do

• Manage metadata requests and maintain the data catalog and documentation.
• Partner with data owners and stakeholders to define ownership and accountability.
• Ensure adherence to data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
• Identify data issues and coordinate resolution through governance processes.
• Profile datasets and create basic data quality checks and controls.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to improve governance standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Data Governance, Data Stewardship, or Data Management roles.
• Strong understanding of metadata management, data quality principles, and data lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Data Engineering concepts, including ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience or familiarity with Databricks environments.
• Basic knowledge of Python programming logic.
• English: C1 or above (mandatory)
• Must be based in Brazil

• Experience with data catalog and metadata management tools.
• Experience implementing or supporting Data Quality initiatives.
• Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms and governance solutions.
