TL;DR

Principal Partner Solution Engineer (Fintech): Leading technical architecture and integration strategies for the Partner Embed Platform with an accent on Payments, AP, AR, and Spend management ecosystems. Focus on driving complex multi-stakeholder technical projects, designing scalable API integrations, and translating business requirements into robust financial solutions.

Location: Must be based in the United States (San Jose, CA or Draper, UT preferred). Role requires ~25% travel for onsite client and partner workshops.

Salary: $176,800 – $260,000 USD (based on location and experience).

What you will do

  • Lead technical discussions and architecture sessions with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Design and implement end-to-end technical solutions for partner integrations.
  • Conduct deep-dive workshops and provide technical documentation for partners.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts between product, engineering, and external IT teams.
  • Manage multiple integration projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and budget adherence.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in solution architecture, system integration, or technical consulting.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Expertise in API integration (REST, SOAP) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages (Java, C#, Python) and SQL.
  • Proven track record in professional services and managing complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
