What you will do

• Design and develop scalable Java-based backend applications and microservices focused on performance and reliability.
• Implement high-quality code following clean code principles, rigorous testing, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with DevOps to containerize applications and integrate CI/CD pipelines.
• Build robust, asynchronous systems utilizing event-driven architecture and Apache Kafka.
• Design and maintain efficient relational database integrations to ensure data integrity and system responsiveness.
• Mentor, coach, and onboard team members while promoting strong engineering standards and code reviews.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java 17, SOLID principles, and design patterns (Layered or ports & adapter architecture).
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, Oracle DB, GitLab, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with testing tools including JUnit, JMeter, and ArchUnit, with a focus on TDD.
• Advanced English language skills.
