What you will do

• Act as the primary quality contact throughout the product lifecycle, from development and proto manufacturing to serial production.
• Lead quality discussions, manage complaints, and handle escalations with internal teams and customers.
• Translate customer requirements into internal standards, processes, and ways of working.
• Perform structured root cause analyses and drive continuous improvement programs based on data and trends.
• Manage supplier quality topics, including assessment, improvement, and issue resolution.
• Coach internal teams in quality tools, prevention mindsets, and structured problem-solving.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or Applied Physics.
• 5–10 years of experience in quality engineering within a high-tech manufacturing environment (electronics or electromechanics).
• Strong knowledge of quality tools: 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA, APQP, and SPC.
• Experience in customer-facing quality discussions and supplier quality management.
• English: Good communication skills required.
• Current residency in Portugal for relocation eligibility.
