What you will do

• Direct and optimize the supply chain from Ukrainian and Polish suppliers to primary assembly locations in Germany.
• Manage strategic partnerships to ensure contract compliance, quality standards, and optimized lead times.
• Develop and execute contingency plans for Ukrainian supply routes to ensure business continuity.
• Navigate EU and non-EU trade regulations, managing customs documentation and cross-border logistics.
• Oversee the full supply chain process from order placement to production delivery.
• Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) and use predictive analytics to balance stock and mitigate downtime.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Strategic Purchasing.
• Background in defense, aerospace, or heavy machinery sectors.
• Proven experience managing suppliers in Eastern Europe (Poland and Ukraine).
• Fluent in English and German.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Munich, Germany.
• Willingness to travel between Germany and partner locations in Poland.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Ukrainian.
