What you will do

• Develop, implement, and enhance a robust AML/CTF and Sanctions compliance framework in line with BoL and EU expectations.
• Oversee the first line of defense (KYC and Transaction Monitoring) through governance and controls.
• Conduct AML/CTF and Sanctions risk assessments and prepare the Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA).
• Review and decide on STR/SAR filings, ensuring timely reporting to the FCIU.
• Act as the primary point of contact with regulators (BoL, FCIU) on compliance matters.
• Deliver regular reporting to the Board and senior management regarding the effectiveness of the control function.

Requirements

• Based in Vilnius, Lithuania.
• Fluent in Lithuanian and English.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in AML or compliance, ideally within an EMI, payments, or fintech environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of Lithuanian and EU financial regulations and experience interacting with BoL and FCIU.
• Experience handling high-risk clients or complex onboarding cases.
• Proven ability to make confident, independent regulatory decisions.
