What you will do

• Lead and shape the technical direction of a new, unannounced AAA project.
• Mentor and manage a team of engineers, conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance.
• Collaborate with art, design, and production departments to align creative vision with technical execution.
• Partner with the Technical Director to implement a clear technical vision.
• Support recruitment and talent development to build a high-performing technical team.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience as an Associate Technical Director, Technical Lead, or Lead Engineer.
• Experience leading at least one full AAA game project from start to finish.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and core game engineering disciplines.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing cohesive teams.
• Must be based in the UK with the right to work.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in building large scale, realtime, multiplayer games.
