What you will do

• Provide compliance domain expertise to the first line of defense (1LoD) and solve complex compliance problem statements.
• Act as a strategic stakeholder and liaison between 1LoD and 2LoD compliance teams.
• Steer retail banking and payments products through the regulatory landscape to ensure smooth and compliant launches.
• Identify potential compliance risks in retail offerings and develop innovative strategies to mitigate them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy cutting-edge compliance policies that support business growth.
• Serve as the primary expert and point of contact for regulatory bodies during audits.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in regulatory compliance.
• Professional certification in Compliance (or a willingness to obtain one).
• Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to investment firms.
• Proven experience in compliance risk management, regulatory gap analysis, and policy implementation.
• Strong understanding of banking supervision and regulatory affairs functions.
• Background working in a top-tier bank, strategy consultancy, or a fast-growing technology company.

Nice to have

• STEM or other highly quantitative degree from a top-tier university.
• Experience with SOX, COSO, and audit processes.
