What you will do

• Plan, design, and develop enterprise-grade software systems and core application tools for the Spool product.
• Architect innovative solutions to resolve highly complex problems within the Output Management portfolio.
• Serve as a subject matter expert across core software systems and complementary technical fields.
• Lead the workgroup's engineering excellence and mentor junior and mid-level team members.
• Drive collaboration across functional boundaries and act as the primary escalation point for system roadblocks.
• Align team execution with long-range organizational goals in consultation with senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of mainframe development experience (or Master's with 3+ years).
• Hands-on expertise in HLASM, IBM C, z/OS, IPCS, and TSO/ISPF.
• Proficiency in Java, including the Spring Framework.
• Solid knowledge of Unix/USS, SMP/E, z/OSMF, TCP/IP, SNA, XDC, and Endevor.
• Experience with Source Code Management tools such as GitHub and Endevor.
• Must be based in or able to work from Prague, Czech Republic.

Nice to have

• Technical knowledge of AFP, Metacode, PDF, and PCL document and page-description formats.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies (e.g., Rally).
• Experience in Test Automation using Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
