What you will do

• Design and maintain manual and automated end-to-end test strategies for front-end and back-end systems.
• Build robust automated test suites using the Cucumber BDD framework.
• Perform comprehensive API testing using Postman to validate contracts and performance.
• Integrate automated tests into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality feedback.
• Validate data integrity and pipeline outputs for big data projects using SQL and GCP services.
• Manage defects and track QA progress using Jira within an Agile environment.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in QA engineering.
• Must be based in Colombia or Mexico.
• Hands-on experience with Cucumber BDD and Postman for API testing.
• Proven experience testing applications integrated with SAP.
• Experience with GCP services, BigQuery, and SQL for data validation.
• Proficiency in Java to contribute to automated test code.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools like JMeter or k6.
• Knowledge of API contract testing tools such as Pact.
• Experience with DevOps practices and large-scale data transformations.
