Mid-Level QA Engineer

TL;DR

Mid-Level QA Engineer (Automation): Designing and maintaining automated test suites for high-quality, scalable applications with an accent on API automation, contract testing, and performance validation. Focus on implementing BDD scenarios, mutation testing, and collaborating within an Agile environment to ensure software quality.

Location: Must be based in São Paulo, Brazil (Hybrid: required to work at the client’s office twice a week).

What you will do

• Design and maintain automated test suites for REST APIs and service integrations.
• Implement and maintain contract tests using PACT.
• Develop BDD test scenarios using Cucumber.
• Execute performance tests with JMeter and support mutation testing with PIT.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Work closely with developers to improve software quality throughout the SDLC.

Requirements

• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Strong experience in test automation.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Must be available to work at the client’s office in São Paulo twice a week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT).
• Basic security testing knowledge (DAST).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
