What you will do

• Assemble and wire the test rig for physical hardware testing
• Deploy firmware and test configurations for GA line or FRU re-bringup flows
• Configure and run automated test suites continuously in a CI environment
• Monitor, document, and report test run status during campaigns
• Perform first-pass failure triage and route issues to the right owners
• Write and maintain test-run scripts while documenting setup steps and roadblocks

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a closely related field
• Available for a minimum three-month assignment
• Able to commit to at least 20 hours per week
• Able to work on-site at one of Zoox’s office locations
• Proficient with Linux/CLI
• Strong programming skills in Python and Git

Nice to have

• Embedded/HIL/test-automation/CAN coursework or projects
• Exposure to CI tools, Docker, or Pytest
• Experience with log reading and triage
• Familiarity with automotive/robotics ECU, firmware flashing, or MFG test
