TL;DR

VP of Customer Support & Implementations (DevSecOps): Leading and scaling post-sale customer experience for a high-stakes DevSecOps platform with an accent on government compliance and mission-critical reliability. Focus on building a unified support and implementation organization, driving technical excellence, and serving as the executive voice of the customer to leadership.

Location: Must reside in one of our approved hiring hubs: DC/Maryland/Virginia, Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill (NC), Denver/Colorado Springs (CO), or Dallas/Fort Worth (TX). U.S. citizenship required.

Salary: $240,000–$280,000

What you will do

  • Lead and develop a multi-functional team of support and implementation engineers and managers.
  • Define and own the customer support strategy, operating model, SLAs, and service tiers for government and DoD environments.
  • Build and maintain support infrastructure, including tooling, workflows, and escalation frameworks.
  • Own the end-to-end technical implementation function, ensuring projects meet strict government compliance standards.
  • Serve as the senior voice of the customer at the leadership level, synthesizing field intelligence into strategic recommendations.
  • Drive a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in technical customer support, customer success, or professional services, with 7+ years in people leadership.
  • Proven track record of scaling post-sale organizations in a high-growth SaaS or PaaS environment.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to federal security requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret / SCI eligible security clearance.
  • Must reside in one of the approved hiring hubs: DC/MD/VA, Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill (NC), Denver/Colorado Springs (CO), or Dallas/Fort Worth (TX).
  • Technical credibility in Kubernetes, deployment pipelines, and platform architecture.

Nice to have

  • Direct experience supporting DoD, IC, or federal civilian customers.
  • Exposure to FedRAMP High, DoD IL5/IL6, or DISA-authorized environments.
  • Background in DevSecOps, platform engineering, or site reliability.
  • Active security clearance.
