What you will do

• Design and build scalable data pipelines and backend services for high-volume security data.
• Collaborate with threat analysts and data scientists to define and implement critical datasets.
• Improve system observability, reliability, and maintainability through rigorous testing and monitoring.
• Drive technical direction and architectural decisions for shared platform services.
• Mentor team members and promote engineering best practices across the organization.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval workflows to support near real-time threat detection.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant software engineering experience (or 9+ years for Staff level).
• Expert-level proficiency in Java, Scala, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with SQL (MariaDB/MySQL) and Elasticsearch.
• Proven experience building and operating production-level software in public cloud environments.
• Strong background in developing high-volume distributed systems and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and CLI-based debugging workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services including SQS, Lambda, Glue, or Spark.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies.
• Experience with large-scale analytics or near-real-time data processing.
