TL;DR

Strategic Account Director (SaaS): Driving growth and expansion within enterprise accounts for an AI-powered engineering platform with an accent on complex account planning, multi-threaded selling, and technical product demonstration. Focus on building long-term customer relationships, navigating large-scale organizational structures, and achieving significant revenue growth in a fast-paced startup environment.

Location: Must be based in the USA. This role is remote but requires mandatory travel to Newfoundland, Canada, at least twice per year and on-site customer visits averaging one week per month.

What you will do

  • Build and execute robust account strategies to drive significant revenue growth within existing and new strategic accounts.
  • Manage deep account planning, mapping, and multi-threaded selling across large enterprise organizations.
  • Serve as a technical expert to customers, demonstrating product value and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with Account Executive and Customer Success teams to manage renewals and expansions.
  • Document all activities and follow-up conversations in Salesforce.
  • Travel to customer sites on average one week per month.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the USA.
  • 1-2+ years of experience working with large enterprise customers (10,000+ employees).
  • Proven experience in a Strategic Account role within a SaaS business or an engineering background with strong closing skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex use cases and demonstrate highly technical products.
  • Must be willing to travel to Newfoundland, Canada, twice per year and to customer sites monthly.
  • Strategic mindset with experience in complex account planning and multi-departmental selling.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with manufacturing clients, including automotive, medical device, or hardware/mechanical consumer products.
