What you will do

• Lead the technical direction of specific AI domains and define engineering standards for the organization.
• Design scalable AI architectures and production-ready agentic systems.
• Drive technical decisions regarding LLMs, Retrieval, Tool Calling, MCP, and evaluation frameworks.
• Own complex cross-team initiatives from initial design through to production.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, and Infrastructure teams to deliver AI-driven customer value.
• Mentor engineers and ensure engineering excellence through architecture reviews.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong backend background.
• 3+ years of experience as a Tech Lead in fast-paced environments.
• Strong AI engineering skills, including context engineering, agent optimization, and systematic evaluation.
• Expertise in system design, distributed systems, and scalable cloud architectures (AWS or equivalent).
• Experience building production-grade backend services and microservices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agentic AI, Tool Calling, MCP, RAG, or AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience designing AI evaluation frameworks, datasets, and observability monitoring.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Scala, or Java.
• Experience working with event-driven architectures.
