What you will do

• Build the next generation of scalable web-based UIs and trading tools.
• Collaborate closely with traders and developers to gather requirements and understand business needs.
• Implement real-time trading, visualization, analysis, and reporting tools.
• Design great and intuitive user interfaces.
• Work primarily on the frontend stack with occasional opportunities to contribute to the backend.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expertise with web client languages including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as React, Angular, and Node.
• Experience with remote API design and architecture (REST, WebSockets).
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or KDB.
• Must be based in the New York office for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Object-oriented design skills and familiarity with Java.
• Experience with Python.
• Interest in trading and financial markets.
• Experience with source code management (Git).
