TL;DR
Director Business Development (SaaS): Leading and scaling the North America Sales Development organization to drive high-quality pipeline growth with an accent on outbound/inbound strategy and people leadership. Location: Hybrid (Must be based in Austin, TX or Denver, CO); requires two days in the office per week.
Salary: $162,589 — $264,207 USD (OTE)

What you will do
- Lead, coach, and scale the North America Business Development organization, including first- and second-line leaders.
- Own and deliver pipeline generation targets for the North America region aligned with revenue goals.
- Develop and execute outbound and inbound sales development strategies aligned with company GTM priorities.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to optimize ICPs, lead flow, and account-based strategies.
- Drive operational excellence through forecasting, capacity planning, and KPI tracking.
- Establish clear career paths and enablement frameworks for BDRs and managers.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of SDR/BDR leadership experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
- Minimum 3 years of second-line managerial experience (managing managers).
- Proven track record of building repeatable and scalable pipeline generation processes.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Must be based in or able to work from the Austin, TX or Denver, CO offices.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting data, analytics, or developer-focused products.
- Familiarity with product-led growth (PLG) and hybrid sales motions.
- MBA or equivalent business leadership experience.
- Background in Revenue Operations or GTM strategy.
