Salary: 140,000–192,500 CAD/year

What you will do

• Build and ship product features end-to-end across the full stack.
• Lead application architecture decisions and design scalable solutions.
• Mentor fellow engineers and guide high-quality work through delivery.
• Implement back-end APIs in Node.js and work on SPA front-ends using React, Vue, or Ember.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers in an Agile environment.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain testable code.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• 5+ years of experience developing web-based applications.
• Experience guiding high-quality work across multiple developers.
• Proficiency with a modern front-end framework (Ember, Angular, React, or Vue).
• Experience writing REST/JSON APIs and software tests.
• B.S., M.S., or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js and modern ES6 or TypeScript.
• Experience with Ember.js.
• Experience working on SaaS web applications.
• Docker or Kubernetes experience.
