Location: Must be based in Herndon, VA, Melbourne, FL, or Colorado Springs, CO. This role is strictly onsite and requires an active U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance.

Salary: $137,000 – $200,200 (Washington, DC metro area range)

What you will do

• Design and maintain automated DevOps and DevSecOps pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and Ansible.
• Implement containerized deployments leveraging Kubernetes, Helm, and Rancher.
• Integrate security mechanisms and static code analysis directly into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Develop and enforce infrastructure-as-code to ensure fully automated environment provisioning.
• Collaborate with software and system engineers to streamline automated testing and documentation processes.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, network, and pipeline issues in hybrid cloud/virtualized environments.

Requirements

• Must hold an active U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance and be able to pass a CI polygraph.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be willing and able to work onsite.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of industry-related experience in DevOps or systems engineering.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration (RedHat/CentOS) and CI/CD development using Python or Bash.

Nice to have

• Security+ or equivalent certification for privileged user access.
• Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and IaaS/PaaS services.
• Background in supporting software within production environments.
