What you will do

  • Lead the successful delivery of complex customer engagements by providing technical guidance to implementation teams.
  • Guide technical teams through architectural decisions and navigate trade-offs between established and innovative approaches.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies impacting project timelines.
  • Manage all aspects of programs including scope, schedule, budget, and resources with a focus on technical complexity.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for customers regarding technical delivery issues.
  • Facilitate goal-oriented meetings and articulate the Databricks vision to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Canada
  • Proven experience managing large, complex technical engagements.
  • Strong ability to influence technical teams and tailor communication for diverse audiences from engineers to executives.
  • Familiarity with managing trade-offs between scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Ability to stay current on technology trends and make sound technical decisions.
  • Experience with BI, data management, and big data technologies is preferred.
