What you will do

• Own the availability, reliability, and security of identity, access, and account-protection systems.
• Lead compliance and regulatory-reporting surfaces end-to-end across four jurisdictions.
• Drive the fraud-detection roadmap to minimize account takeovers and improve detection speed.
• Lead, develop, and grow four engineering managers and their respective squads.
• Set engineering standards and hold teams accountable for post-launch quality and reliability.
• Lead an AI-native engineering team to accelerate development and improve technical quality.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering at the multi-team level (20+ engineers) with direct accountability for production systems.
• Proven track record in high-stakes environments such as fintech, payments, banking, or crypto.
• Hands-on ownership of reliability, including SLOs and incident response.
• Demonstrated ability to lead an AI-native team and implement modern, spec-driven development.
• Strong cross-functional leadership in a matrixed, multi-country organization.
• LATAM experience and proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese are strong pluses.
