Data Engineer (Natural Gas)

What you will do

• Enhance and maintain data retrieval pipelines and scrapers.
• Expand data coverage to new markets and geographies.
• Develop and improve monitoring, alerting tools, and dashboards.
• Ensure high performance of the API distributing data to end users.
• Collaborate with data scientists and market experts to build sustainable growth plans.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience as a data-focused Software Engineer.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with RESTful APIs.
• Working experience with PostgreSQL or similar data stores.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of hexagonal or medallion architecture.
• Familiarity with monitoring solutions like Datadog or Grafana.
