Senior Software Engineer (Go) (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Go): Building and strengthening the security and resilience of a cloud-native payments platform with an accent on API security, cryptographic controls, and AI governance. Focus on delivering scalable production-ready solutions, implementing automated security tooling, and embedding security capabilities into the SDLC.

Location: Remote (Europe). Must be based in one of the specified European countries. Note: First day requires physical presence in the office to collect equipment.

What you will do

• Design and implement capabilities to enhance the security, trust, and resilience of the payments platform.
• Develop solutions for API security, cryptographic controls, and AI governance.
• Build automated security tooling and strengthen the software supply chain.
• Collaborate with platform specialists and security experts to deliver scalable, maintainable capabilities.
• Own projects end-to-end from design to production deployment.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in designing and building distributed systems.
• Proficiency with Go and a "right tool for the job" approach.
• Experience with cloud and containerisation (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation tools.
• Must be a contractor located in one of the following countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Romania, Slovakia, or Slovenia.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clean code and engineering best practices.

• Experience with Java.
