What you will do

• Contribute to concept and detailed design activities for electrified machine systems and subsystems.
• Work within cross-functional task-force teams to solve customer challenges and deliver engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with build and validation teams to support rapid development and testing of demonstrator machines.
• Support mechanical and electrical design, including system integration, packaging, and component development.
• Create and maintain engineering models, drawings, and documentation.
• Apply structured problem-solving techniques to identify root causes and implement robust solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Must be able to work on-site 5 days a week in Peterborough, UK.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Experience in product design and development environments.
• Proficiency in engineering design tools such as Creo or equivalent CAD software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective communication abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with electrified powertrain systems or high-voltage applications.
• Knowledge of FMEA, GD&T, and DFM processes.
• Experience working in prototype or pre-production environments.
