TL;DR

Senior Services Engagement Director (P6): Own the end-to-end commercial cycle for Professional Services opportunities, from qualification and scoping to Statements of Work, change control, renewals, and margin governance with an accent on quota-carrying services bookings and profitability. Focus on executive relationship management and deal leadership in enterprise SaaS environments, translating customer outcomes into measurable, delivery-realistic engagements.

Location: Amsterdam (hybrid as per business needs)

What you will do

  • Identify, qualify, scope, and close Professional Services opportunities across existing and new customers.
  • Own the services commercial plan for assigned accounts, including renewals, change requests, and margin management.
  • Lead discovery and scoping workshops, create and validate Statements of Work, and manage acceptance criteria and governance.
  • Drive end-to-end Project Change Requests, including commercial impact, negotiation, and closure.
  • Manage services lifecycle commercial performance: pipeline hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and risk/confidence communication.
  • Deliver executive-ready storytelling and customer-facing collateral, partnering with Sales, Customer Success, PS Delivery, and Product.

Requirements

  • English: Fluent and Dutch: Fluent.
  • 8–12 years’ experience in a professional services commercial role within enterprise SaaS or technology services (e.g., Services Engagement / Services Pre-Sales / Services Sales).
  • Proven track record owning and closing complex services deals, including negotiation, contracting, and change control.
  • Strong financial acumen: forecasting, margin management, and commercial governance.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in matrix environments and operate effectively individually and with a team.
  • Right to work in the Netherlands; no relocation can be offered. Ability to obtain Security Check (SC) NSV clearance if required.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on delivery experience (project delivery leadership, program management, or customer success leadership).
  • Experience with contact centre transformation, cloud migration, or complex enterprise implementation programs.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC), Excel-based financial modeling/reporting, and PowerPoint for executive presentations.
