Middle Software Engineer (Kotlin)

TL;DR

Middle Software Engineer (Kotlin): Building and maintaining internal tooling for QA and development teams with an accent on test data generation and release automation. Focus on evolving backend services, migrating legacy systems to Go, and improving infrastructure for internal processes.

Location: Remote or hybrid from one of our offices. Relocation support provided to Serbia, Cyprus, Georgia, or Kazakhstan.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the internal test-data generation service used by QA and product teams.
• Maintain and extend automation for mobile release processes to replace manual tasks.
• Support mock services for mobile automated testing.
• Contribute to the migration of legacy Kotlin services to Go.
• Build internal infrastructure for interview tasks and automated reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage service ownership and contract changes.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of JVM languages (Java or Kotlin).
• Experience with Micronaut, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Kafka.
• English level B1 or higher.
• Pragmatic approach to code quality and a passion for automation.
• Openness to learning and working with Golang.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Golang.
• Experience with Spring ecosystem.
