What you will do

• Architect, design, and build streaming TV experiences for connected TV platforms including Google/Android TV, Fire TV, and Samsung.
• Lead architectural decisions and set the strategic and tactical direction for frontend development.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams to define scope and make critical product decisions.
• Drive innovation to improve the reliability, stability, security, and overall quality of streaming applications.
• Champion and leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to increase team productivity and code quality.
• Conduct architecture reviews and guide design decisions to ensure adherence to industry best practices.

Requirements

• 15+ years of industry experience in senior software engineering roles.
• Proficiency in modern web frameworks (React/Redux, Solid JS, Flutter, Cordova) and expert-level skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with media frameworks and streaming protocols (HLS, MPEG-DASH, DRM) and media playback on HTML5, iOS, and Android.
• Proven experience in connected TV environments and understanding of their unique technical constraints.
• Demonstrated fluency with generative AI and experience using AI-assisted engineering tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
