What you will do

• Build and evolve reusable UI components and design system foundations using React and TypeScript.
• Design scalable, accessible, and business-logic-agnostic component APIs for cross-team adoption.
• Lead technical design discussions regarding component systems, theming, and performance.
• Drive design system adoption through documentation, tooling, and migration guidance.
• Improve shared frontend infrastructure including Storybook, testing, and design token pipelines.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical coaching to raise frontend standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development, platforms, or design systems.
• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Demonstrated experience building and scaling reusable component libraries.
• Deep understanding of web accessibility (WCAG, ARIA, screen readers).
• Experience leading technical initiatives and influencing engineering decisions.
• Must be based in or able to work from Boston, MA.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise design systems and multi-brand architectures.
• Proficiency with Style Dictionary, design token governance, and automation.
• Experience with Next.js, React Server Components, and monorepo management.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools for platform adoption and documentation.
