What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a global team of network engineers across backbone, datacenter, and automation projects.
• Oversee day-to-day network operations and manage incidents, escalations, and customer-impacting issues.
• Collaborate with architects to translate technical strategies into practical execution for network upgrades and expansions.
• Drive a culture of automation using Ansible and Python to improve workflows and operational reliability.
• Manage capacity planning and traffic monitoring using tools like Kentik and Grafana.
• Ensure high standards of network security, including DDoS mitigation and traffic filtering.

Requirements

• Significant experience in network engineering within ISP, telecom, cloud, or gaming infrastructure environments.
• Proven track record of leading, mentoring, or managing network engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EVPN-VXLAN, MPLS, and L2/L3 VPNs.
• Hands-on familiarity with Juniper hardware (MX, QFX, SRX, EX) or similar platforms like Cisco or Arista.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Python, and Netbox.
• English: C1 proficiency required for clear technical communication with global stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as JNCIP-SP, JNCIP-DC, CCNP, or CCIE.
