What you will do

• Write tailored content for children (6-18) and parents using a warm, human brand voice.
• Apply neuro-affirmative and strengths-based approaches consistently across all resources.
• Ensure all content meets WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards, including plain language and alt text.
• Storyboard interactive resources for video and animation to guide producers.
• Collaborate with clinical subject-matter experts to draft and refine clinically-reviewed material.
• Manage safety-sensitive topics within strict editorial guardrails.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant copywriting experience.
• Must be based in the United Kingdom.
• Proven experience creating copy using neuro-affirmative language for neurodivergent audiences.
• Ability to adapt tone and vocabulary for distinct age groups and reading levels.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA).
• Experience in storyboarding for interactive and multimedia delivery.

Nice to have

• Lived or professional experience with neurodivergence.
• Script writing skills for short-form video or animation.
• Experience in health, education, or regulated content environments.
• Hands-on experience with Cogniss or similar no-code learning platforms.
