What you will do
- Own and maintain the ISO27001 management system and coordinate annual audits and accreditation renewals.
- Manage company risk registers and drive business compliance and organizational risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead cross-functional operational initiatives and identify efficiencies through automation and AI.
- Manage vendor assessment, onboarding, and relationship processes in line with ISO requirements.
- Collaborate with Department Heads to reduce administrative overhead and improve operational effectiveness.
- Maintain operational documentation and knowledge management systems for a distributed global team.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in business operations, governance, compliance, or project management.
- Must be based in Namibia or Botswana.
- English proficiency (C1+) is mandatory.
- Proven experience managing ISO management systems and supporting external audits.
- Ability to work independently and asynchronously in a remote work environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST CSF, or similar information security systems.
- Interest in open-source collaboration or the energy sector.
- Prior experience in the IT sector or with diverse, fully-remote teams.
- German language proficiency.
