What you will do
- Design and develop scalable dashboards and user interfaces for robotics traffic management and telemetry.
- Build cloud-native APIs and microservices using REST, gRPC, and MQTT for machine-to-cloud communication.
- Develop IoT solutions using Azure IoT Hub, Event Hub, and Azure Functions for secure telemetry ingestion.
- Integrate cloud services with robotic systems to enable remote monitoring and automation capabilities.
- Implement observability using metrics, distributed logging, and alerting to support high-availability solutions.
- Collaborate with robotics engineers and telemetry platform teams to deliver end-to-end functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Minimum of four years of relevant engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL database development.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Must be able to work on-site in Frimley, UK.
Nice to have
- Exposure to robotics, autonomous vehicles, or industrial automation.
- Experience with ROS or ROS2 and simulation environments.
- Experience with telemetry systems or fleet management platforms.
- Experience working with electrical engineering and embedded software teams.
