What you will do

• Develop enhancements for intra-operative devices using modern C++.
• Design and maintain the software stack for next-generation embedded systems and edge computing.
• Implement and optimize device monitoring and cloud connectivity methods.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across application software, embedded, and cloud platforms.
• Investigate and resolve complex bugs reported from testing and support.
• Ensure software adheres to strict security and regulatory compliance for medical-grade systems.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency in modern C++ (C++17 and higher).
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience with IPC frameworks like gRPC, DDS, or Zenoh.
• Must be based in or able to commute to the London office at least 2 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with GUI frameworks such as React or Qt.
• Familiarity with regulated industries (Medical, Automotive, Aerospace, Finance).
• Knowledge of AWS and systems engineering principles.
