What you will do

• Research and monitor federal procurement sources to identify and qualify new DoD opportunities.
• Assist in capture planning, including competitor analysis, win themes, and solution development.
• Coordinate data calls and subject matter expert interviews to support proposal development.
• Draft, edit, and review proposal content for compliance, clarity, and persuasiveness.
• Maintain opportunity records and pursuit documentation in SharePoint.
• Support proposal graphics development and coordinate with design resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in federal contracting, capture, or proposal development.
• U.S. work authorization is mandatory; no sponsorship provided.
• Strong written communication and document-development skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with DoD-specific acquisition processes and contract vehicles like SeaPort NxG or GSA MAS.
• Familiarity with federal market intelligence tools such as GovWin, SAM.gov, or Bloomberg Government.
• Knowledge of Shipley-based capture or proposal best practices.
