TL;DR

Director, Performance Creative (Ad Sales): Building and leading the performance creative practice across the organization with an accent on A/B testing, optimization frameworks, and KPI-driven creative. Focus on evolving creative workflows, integrating data-driven insights into production, and scaling performance benchmarks.

Location: Hybrid (New York), minimum of four days per week in the office

Salary: $130,000 - $175,000 yearly

What you will do

  • Develop the performance creative methodology and playbooks for versioning and A/B testing from pitch to production.
  • Embed a performance lens into early-stage client conversations to connect creative approach to KPIs.
  • Oversee and evolve existing digital performance creative capabilities and provide strategic direction.
  • Act as the senior performance creative voice in client relationships, presenting data-driven POVs and optimization recommendations.
  • Create organizational benchmarks, best practice guides, and case studies to make performance thinking scalable.
  • Partner with Creative Technology to define technology requirements for optimization and versioning at scale.

Requirements

  • Expertise in performance creative across paid media environments including digital, social, and CTV.
  • Fluency in media planning, buying, and measurement frameworks across various platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead organizational change and influence cross-functional creative, sales, and tech teams.
  • Strong data literacy and analytical rigor to translate campaign reporting into creative narratives.
  • Director-level seniority with experience leading a capability or team.
  • Must be based in New York for a hybrid schedule (minimum 4 days per week in office)
