Location: Hybrid in New York City (office attendance required Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays)

Compensation: $50,000 – $60,000 per half year (approx. $120,000 annualized)

What you will do

• Identify and manage conferences, sponsorships, and industry gatherings aligning with the go-to-market strategy.
• Own end-to-end event planning for executive dinners, roundtables, and partner gatherings.
• Act as the primary operational liaison for the PR agency, tracking deliverables and flagging blockers.
• Draft media pitches and prepare comprehensive briefing documents for executive media appearances.
• Track event and PR performance against KPIs, including ROI, share of voice, and pipeline influence.
• Collaborate with Sales and Partnerships teams to maximize networking outcomes at events.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in event marketing, PR, or communications.
• Proven track record of executing B2B events and executive experiences end-to-end.
• Experience managing PR agencies and coordinating media relations.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple simultaneous workstreams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, HR tech, SaaS, or payroll sectors.
• Existing relationships with fintech or HR tech journalists and analysts.
• Experience managing award submissions and analyst relations.
• Familiarity with CRM and media monitoring tools.
