What you will do

• Lead the Brand Design organization (~35 people) across Graphic, Web, Video Production, and Computational Art teams.
• Optimize design operations by auditing capabilities, identifying bottlenecks, and building actionable improvement plans.
• Establish scalable workflows, SLAs, and intake processes to ensure high-quality delivery at speed.
• Manage and develop a team of designers and team leads, setting clear growth paths and accountability structures.
• Collaborate with Marketing teams to define and implement visual and creative direction across all communication channels.
• Act as the primary creative partner to marketing leads and product marketing stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven operational leadership in design with experience restructuring or significantly improving design team workflows.
• Strong track record of managing teams of 20+ people, including managing other managers.
• Deep expertise in communication and brand design with the ability to provide high-level creative feedback.
• Experience with multi-format production including websites, video, advertising, events, and social media.
• Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships across marketing, product, and leadership teams.
• Must be based in or able to work from Amsterdam.

Nice to have

• Experience in a multi-product technology company.
• Background in creative or production agencies with an understanding of large-scale operations.
• Familiarity with the developer tools space or B2B technology products.
• Experience working with internationally distributed teams across different cultural contexts.
