Location: Hybrid (San Francisco office — three days per week)

Salary: $240K–$260K (base only; equity and benefits not included)

What you will do

• Build an industry-leading experimentation process and platform for a consumer product serving tens of millions of athletes worldwide.
• Partner with engineers, product managers, and marketers to ensure experiments are designed and shipped across product surfaces and marketing channels.
• Collaborate with Comms & Experimentation Platform engineers to expand technical capabilities for experiment designs and methods.
• Act as a domain expert to support the data team horizontally in experimentation and inference initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data science or a related quantitative domain, with hands-on experience running experiments.
• Deep familiarity with experimentation methodology and scaling issues (e.g., hypothesis/noninferiority testing, incremental lift estimation, power estimation, program-level holdouts, winner’s curse, interaction effects).
• Strong SQL proficiency and comfort writing software for statistical data processing.
• Fluency in metrics and measurement for consumer software products, with the ability to translate business needs into technical plans and vice versa.
• Hybrid schedule requirement: more than half of time on-site in the San Francisco office (three days per week).
