TL;DR

Account Executive (Security): Driving revenue growth and managing regional dealer relationships for a leading home automation and security platform with an accent on product training, sales strategy, and dealer success. Focus on building long-term partnerships, executing on-site training, and coordinating sales efforts across a large regional account base.

Location: Must be based in Maryland, USA. This role requires 70-75% travel and 4 days a week in the office.

What you will do

  • Manage and develop a large set of assigned dealer accounts to increase product sales and productivity.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the dealer network to resolve obstacles.
  • Initiate and execute on-site product training activities for dealers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Dealer Operations, Sales Support, and Marketing to coordinate sales efforts.
  • Provide weekly account and sales activity reports to management.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to junior sales staff and inside sales team members.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in outside sales.
  • Must reside within the assigned territory (Maryland).
  • Proven history of client management, business development, and revenue growth.
  • Ability to meet heavy travel demands (approx. 70%).
  • Strong technical aptitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US; no sponsorship available.
