TL;DR

Client Service Representative (Hybrid): Provide day-to-day support to retirement and financial services clients by handling account and asset-related inquiries, transaction requests, and service deliverables with an accent on data integrity, compliance, and accurate client documentation. Focus on coordinating across operations, compliance, and investments while tracking communications in CRM and escalating complex requests to senior representatives.

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000

What you will do

  • Act as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients, responding to routine account questions, transaction requests, and service inquiries.
  • Process participant and plan-level transactions (e.g., contributions, distributions, and plan updates) according to established procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, compliance, investments) to complete client deliverables accurately and on time.
  • Prepare and maintain client documents, reports, and meeting materials with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Log and track client communications and service activities in CRM and recordkeeping systems for audit and reporting.
  • Monitor deadlines, follow up on open items, and escalate complex or sensitive requests to senior representatives or management.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in financial services, retirement plan administration, or client account support.
  • Working knowledge or strong interest in retirement plans (401(k), 403(b), defined benefit) and related regulations (ERISA, IRS, DOL).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with attention to accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM or recordkeeping systems.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment and collaborate across teams.
