TL;DR

Endowment & Foundation Sales Director (Finance): Driving revenue growth and developing sales strategies for the endowments and foundations segment with an accent on nonprofit institutional investors and investment governance. Focus on originating high-impact mandates, managing sophisticated client relationships, and implementing alternative investment solutions.

Location: Hybrid, must be based near a hirify.global office in the Northeast (USA); requirement of working in the office at least three days a week.

Salary: $151,000 – $302,500

What you will do

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the endowments & foundations segment.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify market opportunities and expand the client base among nonprofit institutional investors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, prospects, and industry influencers to generate new business.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting endowment & foundation investment governance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure delivery of tailored endowment and foundation solutions.
  • Monitor sales performance and pipeline management while coordinating RFP and proposal activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales roles with endowments, foundations, and other nonprofit institutional investors.
  • In-depth knowledge of endowment investment practices, including spending policies and asset allocation.
  • Strong understanding of nonprofit governance structures and procurement processes.
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses.
  • Must be based in the Northeast (USA) and able to work onsite at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree or professional certifications such as CFA or CFP.
  • Deep knowledge and experience implementing alternative investments within endowment portfolios.
  • Ability to originate and win very large high-impact mandates with sophisticated institutional clients.
