TL;DR

Strategic Account Executive (Retail & Commercial Banking): Driving adoption of frontier AI platforms within leading retail and commercial banks to secure enterprise-scale deals with an accent on C-level engagement and strategic account planning. Focus on embedding AI into underwriting, risk, and back-office workflows while navigating complex regulatory and security reviews.

Location: Must be based in San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY (Hybrid policy: office attendance required at least 25% of the time)

Salary: $380,000 - $450,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do

  • Own a book of strategic, high-value accounts across retail and commercial banking to exceed individual revenue targets.
  • Engage with C-level and senior technical stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Risk) to build business cases and navigate complex procurement.
  • Develop and execute account plans that translate strategic relationships into committed revenue.
  • Partner with Applied AI, Solutions Architecture, and Product teams to translate banking needs into product roadmaps.
  • Codify winning use cases and reference stories to scale the FSI sales motion in collaboration with Marketing.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional motions with Customer Success, Legal, and cloud partners (AWS, Google Cloud) to deliver a seamless experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience specifically within retail or commercial banking.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas for complex technical products such as API-first platforms, cloud infrastructure, or ML platforms.
  • Experience building C-suite relationships within large banking and consumer finance organizations.
  • Strong operational rigor in managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and accurate forecasting.
  • Technical credibility with buyers such as CDOs, CTOs, and Heads of AI/ML.
  • Must be located in or able to work from San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY.

Nice to have

  • Experience bringing Generative AI or LLM-based products to large banking enterprises.
  • Deep familiarity with regulated-industry selling, including data governance and compliance-driven procurement.
  • Experience selling through global systems integrators and cloud partners.
  • Familiarity with consumption-based commercial models and value-based pricing.
