TL;DR

Manager, Business Development (SaaS): Hiring, onboarding, and mentoring outbound Business Development Representatives to drive pipeline and revenue growth with an accent on sales coaching and strategic account development. Focus on improving opportunity qualification processes and collaborating with marketing and product teams to optimize outbound messaging.

Location: Must be based in the United States or Canada

What you will do

  • Hire, onboard, and mentor outbound Business Development Representatives (BDRs) in the AMER region.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback through recurring weekly 1:1s to improve BDR performance.
  • Collaborate with Events and Digital teams to execute field events and targeted ad/nurture campaigns.
  • Partner with Regional Sales VPs, Directors, and Area Sales Managers to identify key accounts for development.
  • Work with Content and Product Marketing to develop effective outbound messaging for assigned accounts.
  • Coordinate with Sales Development Operations to refine opportunity management and qualification processes.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service for technical products.
  • Proven experience managing people is required.
  • Experience managing teams focused on Commercial accounts.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
  • Must be located in the United States or Canada.

Nice to have

  • Experience driving new logos.
  • Experience in sales operations and/or marketing automation software.
  • Understanding of B2B software, Open Source software, and the developer product space.
