What you will do

• Design and lead policy research and evaluation projects relating to nature policy in the UK.
• Manage a portfolio of projects in a fast-paced, professional environment.
• Work with senior management to ensure effective business management and achievement of agreed goals.
• Provide line management and technical support to team members to enhance overall capability.
• Support the quality and growth of environmental policy services for Defra and other UK clients.

Requirements

• 10-15+ years of professional experience in policy and programme research and evaluation.
• Strong academic background in economics, natural sciences, public policy or a related discipline.
• Proven experience conducting high-quality policy research assignments within the UK institutional context.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client presentation experience.
• Demonstrable experience in winning and successfully delivering research and evaluation contracts.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
