TL;DR

Lead Azure Platform Engineer (Azure): Designing and delivering an enterprise-scale greenfield Azure platform for an AI & Data programme with an accent on Azure Landing Zones and integration with legacy on-premise infrastructure. Focus on building secure, scalable cloud architectures and supporting the adoption of Microsoft Fabric.

Location: Remote, but must be able to travel to Manchester for face-time

What you will do

• Design and implement enterprise-grade Azure landing zones for a greenfield environment.
• Lead the discovery, design, and iterative development of the Azure platform.
• Build secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures aligned with enterprise best practices.
• Integrate Azure services with existing on-premise legacy estates.
• Work with the Solution Director and stakeholders to define the platform roadmap.
• Provide technical leadership and support the adoption of Microsoft Fabric and associated Azure services.

Requirements

• Extensive experience architecting enterprise-scale solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong experience integrating Azure with on-premise infrastructure and legacy systems.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and its associated Azure services.
• Experience delivering greenfield cloud platforms from discovery through to implementation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
